Nonlinear Process Control Using Contraction

چکیده
Contraction theory is a recently developed nonlinear control system tool based on an exact diierential analysis of convergence. This paper applies contraction theory to stability analysis and control system design for nonlinear chemical processes. Simple designs with explicit stability and convergence guarantees are obtained by taking advantage of the monotonicity of the reaction rates and the linear ambiguity in the choice of the chemical state.
